4 Minnesota Golf Courses Among Best In US
Minnesota has a ton of great golf courses, and now and then, they get highlighted by national golf outlets. Golfweek recently came out with a list of the top 200 golf courses in America, and 4 of them are right here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
Golf Week Top 200 Courses 2025
Golfweek has hundreds of members on a course-rating panel, and they continually judge courses. Many courses make the list year after year, but sometimes one will be replaced with another course.
Ranking criteria
They score the courses by using 10 criteria. The criteria includes routing, integrity of design, quality of shaping, overall land plan, greens and the surrounds, variety and memorability of both par 3s and 4s, tree and landscape management, conditioning, and walk-in the park test.
The walk in the park test is the sense of if the place is worthy of spending four hours on it. They take the scores to come up with an overall average, which is then compared to other courses.
