Dylan’s Signature Piece Up for Grabs
"How does it feel . . .To be on your own . . . With no direction home . . . Like a complete unknown . . . Like a rolling stone?" Although we don't play his music, Bob Dylan is one of my favorite artists. He's a lyrical genius in my book.
And if you have an extremely large bank account, you might be able to snag the working draft of "Like A Rolling Stone" today. Sotheby's is offering the four sheets of lyrics with revisions, additions, notes and doodles: a hat, a bird, and an animal with antlers. It's expected to fetch between $1 million and $2 million.
Dylan was only 24 when he recorded the song in 1965.
