
Speed Suspected of Being Factor in Fatal Minnesota Crash
Rush City, MN (KROC-AM News)- A motorist lost his life in a crash along a rural Minnesota road.

That’s according to a news release issued by the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office.
The deadly crash occurred shortly before 4:00 Thursday afternoon. One vehicle was involved and the driver was the only occupant.

Driver Dies After Smashing Into Pole on Rural Minnesota Road, Deadly Crash Under Investigation
First responders were dispatched to the deadly crash just south of Rush Lake, which is about 14 miles northeast of Cambridge.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates an eastbound vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed failed to navigate a curve. The vehicle then went off the road and struck a utility pole, officials say.
No other vehicles were at the scene, the news release says. Authorities say the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
He is being described as an adult male and his name is being withheld pending family notification, the news release says.
The deadly crash is under investigation.
