Minnesota State Fair Just Announced A 4-Time Grammy Award Winner For 2026 Grandstand

The organizers of the Minnesota State Fair just announced another heavy-hitter joining this year's roster of performers gracing the Grandstand stage.

Acts like Rod Stewart, Bonnie Raitt, and Weird Al have already been announced for the 2026 Minnesota State Fair. Between them, that roster has a lot of awards and accolades, and the newest addition is a 4-time Grammy Award winner.

Just announced by the fair, alt-country/Americana star Sierra Ferrell will be the next name added to the 2026 Grandstand lineup.

A talented singer, songwriter, and multi-instrument performer, Ferrell has assembled quite a catalog of music since releasing her first album in 2018. Along with that strong library of her own creations, Ferrell has a list of collaborations that includes acts like Post Malone, Zach Bryan, Margo Price, and Old Crow Medicine Show.

Ferrell's 2024 album "Trail of Flowers" earned her the 4 Grammys she has collected so far, including two for her song "American Dreaming".

Ferrell's Minnesota State Fair Grandstand show will be part of the opening weekend of the 2026 fair. She's scheduled to take the stage at 7 pm on Sunday, August 30, as part of her Heavy Petal Tour.

Tickets for her show go on sale on Thursday, February 12, at 10 am, with prices ranging from $46 up to $99.25, and will be available via the Minnesota State Fair website.

Ferrell is part of a roster that covers a variety of genres, with the fair aiming to offer a little bit of something for everyone as they construct their Grandstand music series.
