NOW CLOSED: Minnesota-Themed Store At The Apache Mall in Rochester

Heartbreaking news about stores closing that we have loved for years seems to be accelerating right now.  Eddie Bauer just filed Chapter 11 on Monday.  Pizza Hut shared recently that about 250 of their restaurants in the U.S. would be closing.  Unfortunately, another store in Rochester, Minnesota has been added to the list.

There wasn't a big announcement.  It doesn't appear that "store closing" signs were posted, and an announcement wasn't made on it social media pages.  After my quick walk at the Apache Mall today, I can verify that one store is officially gone.

Another Store Has Closed At The Apache Mall in Rochester, Minnesota

Just a few weeks ago, it was reported that Francesca's was closing all of its stores in the United States.  Sadly, one of those retail locations are here in the Med City at the Apache Mall.  If you walk near the middle of the mall, you'll notice that the "store closing" signs are now up at the Francesca's store.  But just around the corner, another store has already gone dark.

Just before Christmas, I was looking for a few gifts for family and a few of my favorites were at a store near the Caribou - Love From Minnesota.  This was THE place to find Minnesota themed items, clothes, recipe books, souvenirs, and books.  If there was something Minnesota related that you wanted, you could probably find it here.

After chatting with a few people at the mall, it sounds like the Love From Minnesota closed for good in Rochester at the end of January.  I also learned that this isn't the end of this brand.

Love From Minnesota is part of the Love From Companies, which has multiple stores and an online store.  While the Rochester store still remains on their website, I can confirm it is not open.  However, here are a few of the other spots where you can shop in person or online:
