Heartbreaking Note Announced The News That This Chatfield, MN Restaurant Is Closing
The end of May has been an emotional one for Southeast Minnesota. Two restaurants in our area just announced that they were closing for good. One of those, Marrow, located on Broadway in Rochester, announced to their fans that they made the decision to close their doors, effective immediately. Sadly, we just learned that another favorite will be shuttering for good in about a month.

Latest Bit Of Sad News in Southeast Minnesota - La Cantina Arcos Mexican Bar & Grill Is Closing
About 30 minutes from Rochester on Hwy 52 is a great town called Chatfield. They've got close to 3,000 people and one of the best parks for kids to enjoy. (Seriously, if you've never gone to City Park at 305 Main St. S., you should check it out with your kids.)
Unfortunately, one of the local restaurants, La Cantina Arcos Mexican Bar & Grill, just announced to its fans that it will be closing for good. Below is the note that La Cantina Arcos Mexican Bar & Grill posted on their Facebook page:
After much thought, we want to share that La Cantina in Chatfield will be closing its doors, with our last day being June 27.
We are incredibly thankful for all the love and support the Chatfield community has shown us throughout this journey. You welcomed us, supported our small business, and made La Cantina feel like home.
Unfortunately, with the challenges we’ve faced since the beginning of the year, it has become very difficult for us to keep up with the needs of the business and our employees.
To everyone who came in for tacos, margaritas, family dinners, and celebrations — thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
If you have a La Cantina gift card, please make sure to use it before June 27.
Our customers will always be welcome at our two Rochester locations, where we’ll continue serving you with the same quality and care you know from us.
