Meteorologist Officially Gives Flannel Advisory for Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin
Have you ever laughed out loud in public and then people just sat there and stared at you? I've lived in the midwest my entire life and when I saw the recent weather report shared by Meteorologist Amanda Morgan, who works in Madison, Wisconsin, I had one of those moments.
She posted on her Facebook page that there was a new weather alert issued for the great states of Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. The difference between our normal winter weather advisories is that this was one I've never seen. It was a Flannel Advisory!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but...these gorgeous fall-type days will soon turn into a frozen disaster full of ice and snow. If you don't believe me, check out the story where the Farmer's Almanac is saying it will basically be a brutal winter. Oh, and it is coming early. Their words. Not mine.
