Have you ever walked through the candy aisle at Target or Walmart and just been overwhelmed by the smell of sugar?  Halloween is a fun night for kids and adults and is somewhat of an excuse to throw as many fun-size candy bars down our throat.

How much candy are kids eating on Halloween night?  According to a few sources, the average kid is going to consume about 7,000 calories on Halloween.  Because most of those calories will come from candy, the average kid is also going to take in about three cups of sugar.

If you are looking for a healthier or non-candy option to hand out this Halloween, here are a few ideas that kids will love to see in their trick-or-treat bucket.
