Undated (KROC-AM News) - A respected monthly report found a slight dip last month in the level of optimism about Minnesota’s economy among business supply managers. The new Mid-America Business Conditions Index for Minnesota fell from 54.7 in January to 54.3 in February. It marks the third straight month the reading has been above 50 and in the range that predicts future economic growth, but it was the lowest reading among the nine states covered by the report.

Its author says the numbers for Minnesota point to slow growth over the next six months and he projects the state will add about 11,000 jobs during that time period.
