Rochester Police Investigating Early Morning Shooting

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester police investigators have been busy looking into a reported shooting.

It was reported at 3:15 Friday morning near the Eastridge Estates apartment complex along Marion Road.

A spokesman says an adult male was shot in the leg while in the intersection of 17th Street and 20th Avenue and was taken to St. Marys Hospital.

A few minutes later, officers were called to the Kwik Trip store a few blocks away where they found another man covered in blood. It was learned he had been involved in a fight and was suffering from an injury to his nose. He was also taken to the hospital. The spokesman says the fight happened at the Kwik Trip and it was learned it was connected to an earlier confrontation at a downtown bar.

Three men who were at the Kwik Trip were brought in for questioning.

The suspected shooter was still being sought at last check.
