Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman was arrested late Thursday night on suspicion of driving under the influence after she crashed with her young granddaughter in the vehicle.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says 51-year-old Wendy Bell was driving in the 5400 block of North Broadway around 11:00 PM when she lost control on a curve, went into the ditch, and rolled.

Bell and her 6-year-old granddaughter were checked by paramedics at the scene and did not seek medical treatment.

Bell was taken into custody and a breath test she was given at jail showed she had a blood/alcohol concentration of .12.
