Back in April of this year, the Scrub Your Butt Soap Company had their lease canceled by the Kahler Hospitality Group and moved out of their subway location. It took a while, but they're open again, on Broadway!  More details in a minute.

Back in 2017, I did a story on three hidden, but awesome, shops in the Kahler Subway. One of 'em was the Scrub Your Butt Soap Company (see that blog here). After posting the story, a TON of people told me how much they loved the shop. They said it was one of Rochester's real gems.

Then, the question became...will they continue online or find another location. They closed the doors without having someplace to go.

Which is why everyone's been eager for them to open in a new location. And they have. They've left the subway for the light of day at 117 N. Broadway in Rochester (they've taken over the Almis Coffee Shop space in this picture).

If this is your first time hearing about them, their Facebook page says they have, "Beautiful handmade soaps and so many other things made by local artisans! We also have beads and one-of-a-kind art and handcrafted gifts from Europe."

I'm glad Scrub Your Butt was able to find a new location. Our small business owners really help express the real Rochester.
