Well...should I feel GUILTY for having fun, without THEM?

I'm a Batman fan. But isn't everybody? You're either a Batman fan or a Hugh Jackman fan, right? I grew up on Batman. "My" Batman is Adam West. I grew up on reruns of that before Michael Keaton.

Even before it came out, I was excited about The Lego Batman Movie! Will Arnett was pretty just hilarious in The Lego Movie. Nobody wanted to go with me. I can understand my wife not going with me. It's an animated, CGI movie. It's a kid's movie. It's not Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds or Chris Hemsworth. It's not even Chris Evans. She has standards. She's not a Batman fan. Not even Ben Affleck or Christian Bale.

But, the kids didn't want to see it. Well, they're teenagers now. As much as they LOVED the original The Lego Movie, too...that was just as much as they did NOT want to see this movie.

Go figure.

I was talking with a friend of mine, and he said, Fine. He'd go with me. He took his son to see it and they both loved it. They'd go again to see it with me.

I had a great time.

Should I feel guilty?

My wife doesn't think so. Neither does my sister. What do you think?
