Mantorville, MN (KROC AM News)  -  A house in Mantorville was hit by bullets Sunday.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office was contacted around 11 a.m. and deputies found 6 bullets from a .223 caliber rifle in and outside the home. No injuries were reported.

It was determined the shots had been fired from the nearby Zumbro River Sportsman’s Club where target shooting was taking place. The Sheriff’s Office says the rounds either went over or through a dirt safety berm and struck the home.  Deputies say there was no reckless behavior involved and board members of the club were notified and advised. The sheriff’s office says the club will be discussing methods to correct the problem so there are no further incidents.

A similar incident happened in 2006.
