You've applied for your dream position and your resume and references are perfect.  But did you know, you could screw up the entire interview and your dream by wearing one specific color?

CareerBuilder conducted a survey among 2,099 HR professionals and managers and found that there are specific colors that individuals should wear to an interview and colors that should never be thrown on if you are seeking a new job.

Best and Worst Colors to Wear to a Job Interview

Go invest in a great blue or black suit or outfit and walk into that interview with confidence!  And put all those other colors, especially orange, to the back of your closet.

I remember the first day that I came to interview at Townsquare Media.  I didn't actually come to the building but instead showed up at Cafe Steam on Broadway for a fun, little coffee interview.  I remember the conversations and meeting James Rabe for the first time as I sat in one of the wooden chairs by the front of the shop.  I have zero idea or memory of the clothes that I wore that day, but I do know that it wasn't orange.

Do you have a great interview story to share?  I'd love to hear about the funny moments or how you scored your dream job.  Send me a message on my Facebook page (Jessica On The Radio) or Instagram.
