We just got fooled by Mother Nature with several inches of snow on April 1st in Minnesota.  Now, she is gearing up for another round of storms this week and we just got a glimpse at what the month of April is going to look like too.

Check Out The Temperatures for the Month of April in Minnesota

NOAA just updated the temperature outlook for the month of April for the country and although we are ready for warmer temps, Minnesota got some disappointing news.  Keep the warmer clothes out because Minnesota is predicted to have temperatures that are a little bit below normal.

If you've been annoyed by the rain and all of the snow we've been experiencing lately, keep the umbrella and shovel handy.  NOAA is predicting that we will be experiencing a little bit more than normal precipitation in April.  In fact, most of Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin, and a good chunk of Iowa will be getting doused with more rain or snow this month.

Severe Thunderstorms Hitting Tuesday

A massive storm just hit the midwest last week, including tornadoes in Iowa and Illinois.  Minnesota got slammed with heavy snow Friday night into Saturday morning and if you were out driving, it was intense!  I was one of those drivers and I honestly didn't know if I was on the road at times.  One of my kids took a video of what the drive was like at about 11:00 pm Friday night in Rochester.

Unfortunately, more storms are expected on Tuesday for Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, and parts of Minnesota.  According to NOAA, those in the orange area could see numerous severe storms late Tuesday afternoon and at night.
