Tik Tok is HUGE and if you've been looking for an empty parking lot to create those amazing dances, I've got 5 of the best ones in Rochester.

The last few weeks, as I've been driving around town with my kids, I've noticed a trend.  Teens are in an empty parking lot, have their phone set up on a tripod, tree, or some sort of item by a light and they are dancing around for a few seconds.

I'll be honest, when I first saw this happen with two teenage girls by Texas Roadhouse, I seriously thought that the girls might need some help.  I couldn't hear any music and it honestly looked like one of the girls was having a seizure.  I pulled over to see if I could help them and that's when they picked up a phone that was propped on the ground.  A lightbulb went off for me and I realized that they were making a Tik Tok video...in the middle of a crowded parking lot with cars driving all around them.

I'm all for you being creative and making fun videos that bring you joy, but I do want you to be safe.  So, here are some of the best parking lots in Rochester that aren't very busy and a few even have a spot where you can prop your phone up for an amazing shot of you.

Disclaimer: Not sure if the owners of the parking lots are wanting you to be there to take videos, so it might be smart to ask before you hit record.
