Popular Eatery That Closed in Rochester, Minnesota Is Re-Opening Soon!

My family had a bit of an obsession a few years ago. Way back in 2018, there was a place in town near the North Walmart that we went to a lot because the Philly cheesesteaks were THE BEST!  Not sure if it was the bread or the fact that we could watch our meal being prepared in front of our eyes...but it was a family favorite.  Three kids + two adults = we spent some serious cash there.  We weren't the only ones who went through a bit of Philly Cheesesteak withdrawal when Tinn's closed its final location.

If you've been craving a Tinn's Grilled Philly Steak Subs for a few years, I have a little bit of good news for you. It's re-opening!

Tinn's stated on their Facebook page that they are opening soon at 1219 2nd Street SW in Rochester, Minnesota. (Get Directions).

If you've been in Rochester for a bit, you may be having a deja vu moment right now.  Yes, this is the exact spot where Tinn's was located before on 2nd Street.

If you are a newbie to Rochester, this is where Sweet House Bakery was located, which closed at the end of 2023.

When Is The New Tinn's Grilled Philly Steak Subs Opening in Rochester, Minnesota?

I don't have an exact date yet but, here is what I know:

• they are waiting for inspections to happen
• opening date is anticipated for end of February/March
