Tangerine Gifts Closing Downtown Rochester, Minnesota Location

Just the other day, Rochester heard the news that D6 Games was closing.  In a matter of days, we also heard that the Diversity Council was shuttering.  I was hoping that we wouldn't hear about any more closings this month but sadly, another one was just confirmed.

If you weren't hanging out on social media yesterday, you may have missed the buzz that happened with the Post Bulletin posted a photo of Tangerine Gifts in downtown Rochester.  I glanced at it briefly and then did a little double-take because the announcement that they were closing was extremely unexpected.

I was still in disbelief last night and I didn't see anything posted on their website or social media pages so I reached out to get some clarification.  Here's the note that I got back:

Hey there! Thanks so much for reaching out. Yes, sadly we are closing and Saturday May 27th will be our last day open...We want to thank all of our customers who have supported us for over 20 years, and will be greatly missed. It’s simply time to move on to the next chapter of our lives. - Caitlin, Tangerine Gifts

While you have a chance, go check out this store.  You might even find something fun for your desk at work like the item below.

You can find Tangerine Gifts (or Tangerine At Wildflowers) at 110 1st Ave. SW in Rochester.
