Rochester, MN (KROC AM News ) - The law finally caught up with a Rochester man Sunday.

A warrant was issued last August for the arrest of 34 year old Jeffrey Thomsen after he violated his probation for an assault conviction.  Thomsen was spotted in November driving on East Circle Drive and led an officer on a brief chase that was broken off.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s office was notified over the weekend that Thomsen was staying at a local motel and he was arrested without incident.

He is even more trouble now. Thomsen is expected to be charged with the police chase and for possession of methamphetamine that was found in his motel room.
