Rochester Man Sent to Prison for Assault

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  A Rochester man has been sentenced to two years in prison for an assault that happened last year.  

Sentenced Wednesday was 27 year old Cody Haakenson. He pleaded guilty to a felony assault charge earlier this year.  

He was accused of punching a man he knew near the Casey’s General Store along 18th Avenue Northwest last August. The man fell to the ground and was knocked out. Haakenson was arrested several hours later.
