Rochester Teen Steals Car To Go To Job Interview

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A convicted Rochester car thief was caught Monday - driving a stolen vehicle down Broadway.

The vehicle was reported missing around 11 a.m. from the Ultimate Surfaces business along Marion Road.

An officer spotted the car about 2 hours later on North Broadway. The driver of the stolen vehicle was identified as 19 year old Justin Morris, who told the officer he needed the car to go to a job interview. Two younger teens were with him. It’s not known if they will be charged.

Morris was placed on probation last month for stealing a car in July.
