Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester residents enjoyed the warmest day in nearly three months Saturday as the city’s official temperature at the airport soared to 39 degrees just after 3 p.m.

That was the warmest it’s been since December 15th, when the mercury rose to 47 degrees. The reading also snapped a streak of below normal temperatures that began February 11th.

It looks like the area is now in for a run of above average temperatures. The National Weather Service is predicting high temperatures in the low to mid 50’s Monday through Friday.

It is also expected to be dry all week, which means the snow that has been on the ground the last few months should be gone by Friday - or sooner.
