Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - There has been another serious motorcycle accident in Rochester.

Police were called to the 2000 block of 2nd St SW near Beetles Bar and Grill around 8 a.m. Thursday morning to investigate an accident involving a motorcycle and a motor vehicle.

 

A preliminary report indicates the driver of the motorcycle was given CPR at the scene and then taken to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of life-threatening head and other injuries.

He has been identified as 47-year old Mark Clement of Rochester. There is no word yet on  his medical condition. Clement was driving his motorcycle west on 2nd street when the eastbound truck turned in front of him and he crashed into the passenger side door.

The truck was driven by 39-year-old Andrew Davick of Rochester.  He was not injured.

A motorcycle wreck last Friday on Marion Road killed a Rochester couple. Police say 56-year-old Curtis Buxton and 44-year-old Jennifer Buxton were fatally injured when a Jeep crossed the centerline and crashed head-on into the motorcycle they were riding.
